Multitasking. We have either watched someone do it or we have done it ourselves. It has become rampant among many especially the young. There are those who can do four or five things at the same time and do them well while others struggle with staying focused on one thing at a time. In some situations, it is a good thing but there are other situations where we need to be focused. When we worship, God doesn’t want us multitasking.

Psalm 95:6-7 “Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we come to You today asking for focus. Help us to take time away from all the distractions of the world to completely worship You. Help us to remember to bow down before You and worship. We thank You for watching over us and taking care of us. Help us to take time to remember You every day and worship You as You want us to. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

One Response to Multitasking

  1. Amen! We owe God our undivided attention and there is no room for multitasking in His presence. This post reminded me of the significance of coming to God and not worrying about keeping time when we are with Him. It is the greatest investment we can ever make.
